This complete motor mounting system is built on the SMY-32R solid white oak Motor Mount (see detailed description on this site) fitted with two eCanoe Gunwale Clamps. These extremely strong clamps are designed to grip wood, aluminum, or extruded plastic gunwales without damage or crushing. They have flat, smooth 3-3/4"(9.5cm)-wide aircraft-aluminum jaws and a unique parallel clamping action that adjusts for flat or rectangular gunwales up to 1-1/8" (2.86cm) in thickness. Clamp screw hardware is 18-8 stainless steel with tough phenolic plastic knobs for long life even in salt-water use. The clamps and hardware are captive so they cannot fall off.
