Battery Rail, White Oak - 60 inches long

Sealed white oak rail, 5 ft long with 24 beveled holes for tying down batteries and gear in rough conditions. Hardware not included.

Premium-grade Appalachian White Oak Battery Rail. Dip-coated in Thompson's Water Seal®. May be painted or left natural. Five feet (152cm) long, 1.0 in (2.5cm) wide, and 1.25 in (3.2 cm) high. Has twenty-four 3/8" (0.95cm) beveled holes spaced 2.5 in (6.4cm) apart for attaching ropes and bungie hooks. Five 1/4" (6.4mm) vertical mounting holes spaced 1-ft (30cm) apart are provided. The rail ends are gracefully tapered to prevent toe stubs. These rails are very sturdy, and will add extra strength to the hull of a canoe or small boat. Battery Rails are normally used in pairs - one rail on either side of the battery bank (see the BR-60K battery rail kit which comes with stainless hardware). eCanoe offers the BR-60 as a single rail for boaters who wish to custom mount very strong marine-grade rails for tying down batteries, gear, or rigging.
