This repair kit saves you money by replacing the blown fuse link. Repair takes some technical skill. An 80-100 Watt soldering iron and heat gun or a small butane torch are required. The kit contains the 50-amp fuse link, crimp/solder connectors suitable for the 14 AWG wires found on small trolling motors while accepting wires up to 8 AWG, adhesive-lined thick-wall heat shrink tubing, and enough lead-free electronic solder to do the job. The kit may also be used to add a fuse link to small trolling motor wires near the positive battery connector as recommended by motor manufacturers. For 12 to 48 volt systems.
